Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Wakame (dried seaweed) (Look for flakes instead of solid sheets)
  • 1 cup White Miso Paste
  • 8 oz Fillet of Salmon (Cut into cubes)
  • 2 cup Broccoli (Sliced into small pieces)
  • 16 oz Soft Tofu (One standard pack cut into small cubes)
  • Optional Toppings
  • 1 pinch Asian Spicy Pickled Mustard Greens (For those who like to add a bit of spice to their dish)
Instructions
  1. Boiling water in a pot on a stove.

    Bring 12 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Half cup of Wakame dried seaweed flakes.

    Measure 1/2 cup of the Wakame (dried seaweed flakes).

  3. Wakame added to the boiling pot of water.

    Add Wakame (dried seaweed flakes) to the boiling water and let the flakes fully expand.

  4. 1/2 cup white miso paste.

    Add in 1/2 cup of the white miso paste.

  5. Stir until miso is disolved.

    Stir the white miso paste until fully dissolved.

  6. Add the salmon chunks.

    Add 8 ounces of salmon cubes and let boil until salmon cubes appear to be cooked through.

  7. Add 2 cups chopped broccoli.

    Immediately add 2 cups of chopped broccoli and continue to boil.

  8. Add Tofu cubes.

    Add 16 ounces of tofu cubes and continue to boil.

  9. Continue to boil the soup for another 10 minutes.
